Since the opening of the brand new £6.5m 888sport Premier Grandstand in 2010, Fontwell Park has gone from strength to strength, with more than 100,000 people visiting the racecourse in the last twelve months.
Fontwell Park has had many reasons to celebrate of late, having been crowned Racecourse of the Year in the 2011 Betview Awards, as well as the grandstand itself being highly commended in the country’s top construction industry awards. It also attracted the attention of international media when the horse Royal Wedding won at the track on the day of Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.
Racing at Fontwell takes place on the only figure of eight track in the country, while the racecourse has also developed into one of the most popular events venues on the south coast. Live music concerts are a regular feature, with Peter Andre having entertained a crowd of thousands in the summer, and the charming Fontwell House which overlooks the beautiful gardens is an ideal choice for weddings, while the luxury Parade Ring Marquee is another flexible space that lends itself to hosting conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.
