Grandstand Update from Fontwell Park

Construction of the new £6.5m Premier Grandstand at Fontwell Park has moved a step forward following clearance of the redundant buildings from the development site. The next stage is to erect the steel frame of the building which is due to open in August next year. The three-storey scheme includes twelve hospitality suites, a glass fronted hospitality lounge for 250 people and a large hall with new bars, catering outlets and betting shop. All of the facilities are dual purpose and will be available on non racing days for weddings, conferences and exhibitions.
