Set in the heart of Country Durham in beautiful countryside, Sedgefield Racecourse is within easy reach of the A1(M) and A19 and yet enjoys a tranquil setting where you can lose yourself in the action.

Racing takes place between March and December, with breaks in July and October to ensure that the track remains in good condition. Visitors can enjoy a fun day out with all the thrill of the racing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, as well as themed events such as Ladies Day and fun for all the family including camel racing.

The racecourse also lends itself as an excellent events venue, with a range of suites to cater for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, celebrations and much more.
