Hereford regularly achieves a large number of runners often resulting in plenty of action and close finishes guaranteed to provide the racegoer with a thrilling spectacle every time. Top trainers and jockeys are often to be found with horses running at Hereford and it is no surprise that both Martin Pipe and Tony McCoy have been top trainer and jockey at the course many times in previous years.
